CLAC offers residential summer courses in English for overseas students and French, German or Spanish for British students or for overseas students with a high level of English. Bringing together British and foreign students on the same course creates natural language exchange in a motivated yet fun environment
18 years experience of running children's course
Two age ranges, 8-13 and 13-17 year olds
Countryside schools - excellent residential, sport and recreational facilities. Safe, enclosed grounds of extensive playing fields and beautiful parkland. On-campus swimming pool, tennis courts and many indoor facilities such as table tennis, billiards, art and craft, cookery, drama, e-mailing, T.V. and common rooms.
Separate boarding areas for boys and girls with comfortable, homely accommodation.
Course Director and staff resident on each course.
24 hour supervision with staff to student ratio of 1:4.
Family atmosphere with emphasis on personal attention
20 hours language tuition each week with maximum 12 students per class. Practice in all language skills - emphasis on communication.
Natural language practice through interaction of the British and overseas students.

Fees include:
Accommodation, weekly laundry, all meals, break-time snacks and drinks, tuition in the chosen language, teaching materials, stationery, a diary and work file, end of course report, certificate, special 'CLAC' T-shirt, course photograph and supervision of pocket money, passport and tickets.
Scheduled transfers for Heathrow and Gatwick airports. CLAC staff help and supervise students at all times.
All-day weekly excursions to such places as London, Brighton, Portsmouth, theme parks, the seaside, castles and shopping centres. Also half-day mini-bus excursions for shopping, project work or sightseeing.
Weekly barbecue, disco, sports competitions, quizzes, team games, drama and theme parties - all carefully organised and planned to extend the language learning outside the classroom.
Horse-riding, golf, ice-skating, ten-pin bowling, go-karting, cinema and theatre visits among the several activities on offer at an extra charge of between £4.00 and £20 per session.
