Live and study in your private teacher's home, isolated from your mother tongue

The most common criticism of language courses is that students speak their own language with friends after class. This weakness is completely removed with our homestay courses, as you are the only student in your teacher's house, and completely isolated from your mother tongue.

Mealtime conversations, visits, T.V. and social contacts are all in the language you are studying and with people of that country. Living with your teacher also means that you will not only be guided and corrected during the lessons but at all times when you are with your teacher. You will learn in record time because you need never meet anyone who speaks your own language.

All our teachers are QUALIFIED with either a University degree (or equivalent), or a State teaching certificate, so you will be staying with an educated family who will speak with you outside class hours, during meals and at other times. H.L.I. have over 2000 qualified teachers in more than 30 different countries to welcome you into their families.

We offer all inclusive courses to suit all ages and taste:

• 10H, 15H, 20H, 25H or 30H private lessons per week + full board accommodation
• 10H lessons + Sports (tennis, golf, horseriding, fishing, sailing, rugby, football and many more)
• 10H lessons + Culture (3 excursions per week with your teacher)
• 10H lessons + Leisure (cooking, shopping, flower arranging, music, dancing, painting and many more)
