English language tuition, academy sports tuition, activities, games, culture, day-trips and as much fun as anyone could fit into the time available!  

The Millfield English Language Holiday Courses offer education and fun on the safe and beautiful campuses of Millfield, Downside and Millfield Prep School and visits to places of culture, interest and delight around the country. We offer a really worthwhile, vibrant and mind expanding experience which is seen by the student as a wonderful, exciting summer holiday. Many students return many times, some are now coming back as staff helpers. On our web page you can read students' comments and see the photographs from previous courses.  All students enjoy 15 hours per week English tuition in small classes with qualified staff in the mornings and in the afternoons there are the following options:

• Preparation for UK Schools or IELTS Exam Preparation (12-17 years)
• Specialist coaching in badminton, basketball, football, golf, hockey, riding, squash, swimming, tennis or tetrathlon (12-17years)
• Sport and recreation (7-17 years)
• Dance, drama, film, etiquette, rock, cooking or fine art (12-17 years)

The afternoon options can be mixed and matched on a weekly basis depending on campus.  All students participate fully in the social programme and excursions. These typically include discos, village fête, football competitions, quizzes, talent shows, theatre visits, mini-olympics, international nights with shared national suppers, trips to Stratford, Oxford, Bristol Science Museum, Warwick Castle, visits to the coast and Theme Parks.  We are three campuses but one Millfield family and students from each of the campuses get together for a number of events to enable friends and siblings on other campuses to meet up. During the summer there are options to visit London and Oxford for a weekend and the opportunity to take a Trinity exam and leave the course with a recognised qualification.

The Millfield English Language Holiday Courses are available at Easter (28th March - 11th April) and summer (11 July - 22 August) please check brochure for the dates specific course options are available.
