EAC Edinburgh in central Edinburgh occupies a fine Georgian terrace building in one of Edinburgh's principal streets, Queen Street. This impressive property extends comprises twelve classrooms and a large common room where you can relax, socialise, watch a large-screen television, read magazines or books from the library and purchase hot and cold drinks. The atmosphere in the school is friendly, welcoming and very international and you will feel at home here very quickly. There is also a computer suite and a self-access study area with free Internet access, textbooks, etc for personal study. This lovely area of Edinburgh is within two minutes of the George and Prince's Street shops and is home to an extensive range of bars, cafes, restaurants and nightclubs.

Edinburgh is one of Europe's finest cities and is administrative capital of Scotland and a perfect centre from which to explore the spectacular Scottish countryside. There are a wealth of places to visit and things to do in Edinburgh: from the elegant Georgian New Town to the Old Town, the historic Port of Leith to the famous Royal Mile stretching from Holyrood Palace and the Scottish Parliament to Edinburgh Castle, perched impressively on its volcanic rock commanding views over the whole city.

The city is full of life throughout the year but in the summer it is host to the world's leading arts festival and to the equally renowned Edinburgh Military Tattoo. Edinburgh also boasts a highly popular New Years' Eve celebration called Hogmanay, when the capital turns into a big party. Our social programme will introduce you to all this wonderful city has to offer.

EAC Edinburgh is an ideal venue for developing your English language skills whilst studying in the heart of one of the most beautiful and exciting cities in Britain. Most of Edinburgh's most exciting monuments and galleries as well as the lovely Princes Street Gardens are so close they can be visited at lunchtime!
